A Word from our General Manager

In 2009/2010  the So Cal Breakers is proud to announce the addition of   16U, 14U and 12U teams to the organization.

The So Cal Breakers organization is committed to producing the finest softball teams in the nation while increasing its players’ potential in obtaining college scholarships through local, but mostly national exposure while learning sound fundamental skills and maintaining high educational standards. So Cal Breaker players can be found on rosters on high caliber educational institutions. Please refer to the Staff link and going to the Hall of Fame link to see what players have gone where over the past 9 years.

The So Cal Breakers 18U Gold team under Brant Beddow is highly respected, well coached, has community support and has positive parent participation. This team is highly visible throughout Southern California, playing most weekends against the top teams and in the most competitive tournaments throughout the year. The gold team also participates in the ASA-USA Junior Olympic Gold Softball Championship and attended Gold Nationals that last several years.

The So Cal Breakers 18A team under Matt Eisenbraun has already established themselves in the short time they have been together. Starting out at 16U team for the last 5 years and moving up to 18A in 2009 the team accomplished a berth to the 2009 ASA J.O. Nationals. The team also plays in all highly competitive tournaments throughout the year and participates in all the Gold showcases as well as ASA-USA championship play. In addition this year the team will be competing in the Gold Classification  ASA tournaments.

It will be the goal of the 16U, 14U, and 12U teams to compete at the highest level and to get all the players ready for marketing themselves to colleges in the future.

The organization is well known by major colleges and plays in all the Top showcase tournaments attended by college coaches and recruiters. This year’s schedule for both the 18U and  Gold and 16U team includes the Louisville Slugger Independence Day Tournament in Boulder, Champions Cup  and LV Tourneys. Our Fall schedule for both teams include the “America’s Finest City”, Worth Tournament of Champions and Surf City Showcases.

The major goal for all teams will be to qualify and attend the 2010 ASA-USA Jr. Olympic Girls Fast pitch National Tournaments as well as the newly formed Premier Girls Fastpitch qualifiers.

The teams have players from different high schools and represent a cross section of both the community and most ethnic groups. Our current players come from several different Southern California Counties. Each Player has been selected for high work ethic, team citizenship and academic achievement, as well as her ability to play various positions.

Thanks again and feel free to contact the undersigned with any questions.

Best Regards,

Brant Beddow 18 Gold
Matt Eisenbraun 18A
Kevin Teare, 16U
Charlotte Files, 14U
Mike Imoto, 12U
